Recently, myBlueprint launched the “Why I love myBlueprint” campaign to many of our most active students on the site. Students came back with glowing experiences and raving reviews that encourage fellow peers to use myBlueprint’s tools to the fullest. Read below to see what Lily had to say! Her inspiring review will have you branching out and taking advantage of everything myBlueprint has to offer in no time!
“Just a note about the title: ‘love’ is a huge understatement.
Coming into my first year of high school at Glenforest, I didn’t have a clue of what to expect or what the future ahead looked like. Then, I was introduced to myBlueprint. Little did I know it would have such a dwelling, positive impact upon my life.
I started my journey by taking the different personality and learning assessments offered under the drop-down menu of the site. From the Myers-Briggs test to the Learning Styles test, there was something new to learn about myself for each one I completed. This ultimately helped me become more self-aware of who I am and my unique identity as a student. Each quiz was enjoyable, informative, and interesting!
myBlueprint made finding my first job countless times easier using the Resume Template provided. I was able to transfer my writing and organizational skills onto the template which was professional, clear, and concise. When I landed my first interview and offer, I immediately reflected back to all the research conducted on myBlueprint and was very thankful for the effort put into by the developers of the site.
Last but (certainly) not least, the Occupation Planner was an engaging tool to explore different careers that may be of my interest – or the contrary. By reading the descriptions and watching videos of testimonials within that job sector, I gained live insight of the career that ignited curiosity and passion from within.
All in all, myBlueprint is a gem of the educational planning world – and it will definitely remain as one of my go-to staples for life planning and goal setting. It’s worth the time to explore this one-site-fits-all resource!”
We’re so glad that Lily reviewed myBlueprint’s newest tool, Career Spectrum! As Lily mentioned, one feature in this new suite of assessments is our Myers Briggs personality test. This assessment, along with Learning Styles, Interests, Knowledge and Motivations, work together to find personalized occupation matches. This is a great tool for students who may not know which careers they are interested in, or best suit them.
To make it even easier, myBlueprint has linked all of the Career Spectrum results right to the Occupation Planner! Students can now search specific details of the jobs they were matched with. In one click students will receive information on the job’s wage, requirements, education, related videos, and even post-secondary programs.
